Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) Employment 

NAF employment is federal employment. However, it is different from federal civil service employment because the funds used to pay the salaries of NAF employees come from a different source. Civil service positions are paid for by money appropriated by Congress. NAF money on the other hand, is self-generated by Air Force clubs, bowling centers, golf courses and other activities that use NAF employees.
 
Current Vacancies      
 
We have two types of NAF positions: flexible and regular. 

Flexible NAF Employment: Zero to 40 hours per week. No benefits. Does not cause loss of Military Spouse Preference (MSP).

Regular NAF Employment: Guaranteed minimum of 20-hour work week. Optional health, dental and life insurance. Accrued annual and sick leave. A retirement and 401(k) plan are offered as well as paid US holidays.
